Why the Cabo Morning Waters Produced Dorado During This Fishing Charter

Terry, Hilarie, and Charlie joined Blue Sky Cabo for a private morning outing aboard the Blue Star, departing at 6:00 AM for a five-hour Cabo sportfishing experience. Their charter produced one dorado, a prized species in Cabo San Lucas fishing and a welcome sight for anglers targeting offshore action.

Dorado, also known as mahi-mahi, are well known in Cabo deep sea fishing for their vivid colors, fast runs, and strong surface fights. Even a single dorado can define a memorable trip, especially on a shorter private outing where every strike matters. For this charter, the confirmed record shows dorado as the only species caught.

The reservation also confirms the use of a dredge, a trolling aid commonly used to attract pelagic species in Cabo fishing conditions. No verified hookup times, bait details, or exact offshore bank names were provided, so those details are omitted here to keep this Cabo Fishing Report fully accurate.

How the Cabo Offshore Experience Shaped This Private Fishing Charter

This March 12 charter gave Terry, Hilarie, and Charlie time on the water together aboard one of the Blue Sky Cabo fleet’s proven sportfishing vessels. With one dorado recorded, the trip adds another dorado result to the early March Cabo fishing grounds reports.

Although the catch total was modest, the presence of dorado keeps this outing relevant for anglers following Cabo dorado fishing activity. The Blue Star returned at 11:00 AM, completing a focused five-hour charter centered on a classic Cabo sportfishing experience.
