Dorado and Skipjack Highlight This Cabo Offshore Fishing Charter

Matt and Kellen departed aboard the Blue Water at 6:00 AM for a five-hour private Cabo sportfishing excursion.

The confirmed fishing results included one dorado and 12 skipjack, making skipjack the predominant species in the day's recorded catch.

Dorado, also known as mahi-mahi, are recognized for their vibrant coloration and popularity among offshore anglers. Skipjack are fast-swimming members of the tuna family commonly associated with schooling activity in open waters.

The charter included a dredge system, an underwater fish-attraction device commonly used in offshore sportfishing.

The available record does not specify individual hookup times, exact fishing grounds, or bait selections.

A Sea Turtle Release Adds to This Cabo Fishing Charter Experience

Beyond the 13 fish recorded, the March 11 excursion also documented a sea turtle release.

Sea turtles are marine reptiles rather than fish, so the released turtle is recorded separately from the fishing total.

The record confirms the release but does not identify the turtle's species or provide additional circumstances surrounding the encounter.

For Matt and Kellen, the excursion combined dorado and skipjack fishing with a documented wildlife release during their time aboard the Blue Water.

The vessel returned at 11:00 AM, completing its scheduled five-hour charter.
