Cabo Inshore Fishing Charter Experience

On February 19, 2026, Davis and his six-year-old son, Carson, joined Captain Jorge aboard the 32-foot Luhrs Blue Star for a private afternoon fishing trip with Blue Sky Cabo.

The father-and-son charter was scheduled from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, providing three hours dedicated to inshore fishing in the waters surrounding Cabo San Lucas.

The final catch included two Skipjack, making this a productive short-duration fishing outing. Skipjack are known for their speed, energetic movements, and schooling behavior, making them an exciting species to encounter on light-tackle fishing adventures.

This charter highlights how a shorter afternoon fishing excursion can provide opportunities to experience Cabo's marine environment without committing to a full day offshore.

Cabo Fishing Conditions and Catch Record

February falls within Cabo San Lucas's winter fishing season, when anglers can encounter various tuna species and other pelagic fish in the surrounding Pacific waters.

Skipjack are fast-swimming fish that frequently travel in schools and feed on smaller baitfish. Their energetic fighting behavior makes them a popular target for anglers seeking active fishing experiences.

Estimated Hookup Times

The charter operated between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Both Skipjack were recorded during this three-hour fishing window.
