Two Marlin Highlight a Cabo Morning Fishing Charter

Larry organized the January 27 excursion aboard Blue Ocean, accompanied by Justin, Ron, Jeff, James, and Tanner.

The six guests were experienced recreational anglers who wanted to enjoy a private offshore fishing trip together.

Before departure, the group expressed particular interest in catching dorado or other fish suitable for preparing a meal. However, they remained open to targeting different species.

Their recorded catch ultimately consisted of two marlin, making billfish the only species represented in the fishing results.

The reservation included a dredge fish-attraction system as part of the group's charter arrangements.

A Six-Hour Cabo Offshore Fishing Experience Aboard the Blue Ocean Charter

The January 27 excursion was scheduled to depart at 6:30 AM and return at 12:30 PM, providing a six-hour fishing window.

The 50-foot Viking Blue Ocean accommodated the six guests for their private morning excursion.

Although the group initially favored edible species, the final fishing results featured two marlin rather than dorado.

The documented catch adds another billfish-focused entry to the January 2026 Cabo San Lucas fishing records.

The two-marlin result reflects the actual catch for this charter, independently of the species requested before departure.

Final Catch Record: Blue Ocean, six guests, six scheduled hours, two marlin.
