Eight Roosterfish Lead a Ten-Fish Cabo Morning Fishing Charter

Meredith and Jose reserved the 32-foot Luhrs Blue Star for a private six-hour fishing excursion on January 22.

Their catch featured eight roosterfish and two dorado, producing a ten-fish result across two distinct species.

Roosterfish accounted for eight of the ten recorded fish, making them the dominant species of the outing. Their distinctive dorsal fins make them one of the most recognizable catches associated with Cabo sportfishing.

The two dorado completed the day's fishing results, adding variety to the catch.

The reservation also included a dredge fish-attraction system as part of the charter arrangements.

A Two-Guest Cabo Fishing Experience Aboard the Blue Star Charter

The January 22 excursion was scheduled to depart at 6:00 AM and return at noon, providing a six-hour morning fishing window.

Jorge was assigned to Blue Star for Meredith and Jose's private outing.

With just two guests aboard, the charter recorded ten fish, distinguishing this excursion from larger group trips with smaller catches.

The fishing results featured eight roosterfish and two dorado, with no additional species recorded.

The ten-fish total contributes another multi-species entry to Blue Star's January 2026 fishing records.

Final Catch Record: Blue Star, Jorge, two guests, six scheduled hours, two dorado and eight roosterfish.
