A Marlin Catch Highlights This Cabo Morning Fishing Adventure on a Private Charter

Jevan arranged a private January 9 fishing experience aboard the 35-foot Riviera Blue Water, with Brian, Hannah, George, and Raewyn also listed in the reservation.

The charter was scheduled to depart at 6:00 AM and return at 11:00 AM, providing a five-hour morning fishing window with Oscar assigned as captain.

The confirmed catch consisted of one marlin, making billfish the only recorded species for this outing.

Marlin are among the signature gamefish associated with Cabo San Lucas, attracting anglers interested in the region's offshore sportfishing opportunities.

The reservation also included a dredge fish-attraction system, although its specific contribution to the marlin catch was not established.

One Marlin Adds to Cabo January Fishing History from This Charter

The January 9 outing contributes a billfish-focused entry to historical Cabo fishing reports.

Unlike mixed-species trips featuring several types of gamefish, this Blue Water charter recorded one marlin as its complete confirmed catch.

The supplied information identifies the fish under the general marlin classification without specifying its exact species, individual weight, or release outcome.

For anglers researching Cabo marlin fishing, this outing provides a documented example from the opening weeks of 2026.

With Oscar assigned to the Blue Water, the scheduled five-hour charter recorded one marlin.

The final result adds another billfish entry to Cabo San Lucas sportfishing history on January 9, 2026.
