A Father-and-Son Cabo Adventure Brings Marlin Fishing Success to This Charter

December 29 marked a special Cabo San Lucas sportfishing outing for Billy and his 13-year-old son, Shane, aboard the Blue Star.

The pair joined Captain Jorge for an eight-hour excursion beginning at 6:00 AM and scheduled to conclude at 2:00 PM.

Their fishing record featured one marlin, making billfish the defining species of the trip.

A dredge system was included in the vessel's fishing setup, adding fish-attracting equipment to the offshore preparations.

The outing provided Billy and Shane with a shared father-and-son experience centered on one of Cabo's most recognized gamefish.

One Marlin Highlights the Cabo Offshore Fishing Results for This Family Charter

The December 29 excursion recorded one marlin, creating a single-species fishing result rather than a mixed catch featuring dorado or tuna.

For Billy and Shane, the experience combined a full-day private fishing schedule with an opportunity to spend time together aboard a Cabo sportfishing vessel.

The marlin catch contributed another documented entry to Cabo San Lucas fishing activity during the final week of December.

For anglers researching Cabo marlin fishing, this excursion provides an example of a private eight-hour charter involving a parent and young angler.

The Blue Star completed its scheduled fishing period at 2:00 PM, concluding the father-and-son outing with one marlin recorded.
