Nine Marlin Lead a Remarkable Cabo Offshore Fishing Charter

Gabe and Amanda joined Blue Sky Cabo Fishing and Tours for a private January 6 outing aboard the 32-foot Luhrs Blue Star.

Their reservation originally referenced an eight-hour fishing experience, although the calendar showed a 6:00 AM departure and 1:30 PM return. The booking also indicated that the group returned early.

The confirmed catch included nine marlin, making billfish the dominant category in the ten-fish result.

One dorado, also known as mahi-mahi, completed the catch, providing an additional offshore species alongside the marlin.

The high concentration of marlin distinguishes this outing from reports featuring smaller billfish totals or a wider variety of species.

A Ten-Fish Result Highlights Cabo January Fishing Charter Records

The January 6 charter contributes a notable mixed-species entry to historical Cabo fishing reports.

For anglers researching Cabo marlin fishing, the nine recorded marlin represent the overwhelming majority of the day's catch.

The additional dorado makes the result relevant to Cabo dorado fishing, bringing the documented total to ten fish.

The available record does not identify the individual marlin species, fish weights, exact fishing grounds, or release outcomes.

With Jorge assigned to the Blue Star, Gabe and Amanda's private outing recorded nine marlin and one dorado, contributing a significant billfish-focused result to Cabo San Lucas sportfishing history during January 2026.
