A Roosterfish Highlights the Cabo Family Fishing and Snorkeling Charter

November 26 brought Vikki, Brian, Valerie, AJ, and Bodhi aboard Blue Star for a private afternoon excursion in Cabo San Lucas.

The family included three adults and two children, ages nine and seven. Their five-hour reservation combined fishing with planned snorkeling activities.

The confirmed catch was one roosterfish, a distinctive species recognized for the prominent dorsal fin that gives it its name.

Unlike offshore charters centered on marlin or dorado, this outing recorded a roosterfish, adding a different gamefish to Blue Star's November fishing records.

The reservation also included snorkeling equipment and a floating lily pad, although the available record does not confirm when these activities took place.

How a Roosterfish Defined This Cabo Afternoon Fishing Charter

The November 26 catch record confirms one roosterfish, with no additional species reported.

Roosterfish are a recognizable part of the sportfishing opportunities associated with Baja California Sur, making this result relevant to anglers interested in species beyond traditional offshore billfish.

The afternoon schedule provided a five-hour window for the family's combined fishing and snorkeling reservation.

The available information does not establish the roosterfish's weight, release status, hookup time, fishing techniques, or precise fishing grounds.

Blue Star's November 26 excursion recorded one roosterfish for Vikki, Brian, Valerie, AJ, and Bodhi, completing the confirmed fishing result for their Cabo San Lucas charter.
