An Afternoon Marlin Catch Highlights This Cabo Private Fishing Charter

Katy and Victor booked a five-hour fishing experience aboard the 35-foot Riviera Blue Water for December 22, 2024.

Their afternoon reservation was scheduled from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM, providing a later departure than the morning charters commonly associated with Cabo San Lucas sportfishing.

The confirmed catch consisted of one marlin, a billfish closely associated with the region's offshore fishing opportunities.

The booking included a dredge fish-attraction system, equipment used to help attract offshore gamefish. However, the record does not establish whether it contributed directly to the marlin catch.

The documented result identifies marlin without specifying its exact species, individual weight, or release status.

One Marlin Adds to the Cabo December Fishing Records for This Charter

The December 22 outing contributes a species-specific entry to historical Cabo fishing reports.

For anglers researching Cabo marlin fishing, Katy and Victor's reservation provides a documented example of a billfish catch during a five-hour afternoon charter.

The Blue Water was assigned to the outing, with Captain Oscar associated with the 35-foot Riviera and two confirmed guests aboard.

Although the available information does not establish the fishing grounds or specific techniques used, the final catch record confirms one marlin.

This result adds another individual billfish entry to the historical record of Cabo deep sea fishing during December 2024.
