The ten guests booked the 60-foot Bertram Blue Sea for an eight-hour Thanksgiving Day sportfishing experience.

Their confirmed catch consisted of two marlin, making billfish the only recorded species.

The reservation included a dredge fish-attraction system, although its actual deployment was not confirmed.

The available records did not identify the marlin's exact species, individual measurements, or release outcomes.
