A Returning Angler Explores Cabo Offshore Fishing on a Private Charter

On October 3, returning Blue Sky Cabo customer Jon joined Hugo aboard the 32-foot Luhrs Blue Star for a five-hour morning fishing charter with Captain Jorge.

Jon had expressed a particular interest in catching Marlin, making billfish an important part of his fishing goals. Although no Marlin appeared in the confirmed results, the charter recorded one Sailfish and two Dorado.

The Sailfish brought a different billfish species into the day's catch. Recognized for its prominent sail-like dorsal fin and elongated bill, Sailfish are among the distinctive offshore gamefish found around Cabo San Lucas.
