A Family Cabo Outing Encounters Skipjack During a Fishing Charter

Levi and Eric brought Cash, age 12, and Walker, age 8, aboard the Blue Star for a family-focused Cabo sportfishing experience.

The morning charter was scheduled to begin at 6:00 AM, giving the group five hours on the water. However, the original itinerary changed when the children experienced seasickness, prompting an early return.

The fishing record lists one skipjack tuna, with no additional species documented.

Although a dredge system had been arranged, the available information does not confirm its use or identify the fishing technique responsible for the catch.

How an Early Return Shaped This Cabo Tuna Fishing Charter

Skipjack tuna are among the tuna species encountered in Cabo San Lucas fishing waters, contributing to the region's diverse offshore fishing opportunities.

For this family, the shortened outing meant that the scheduled five-hour charter was not completed.

The exact return time, fishing grounds, hookup time, and size of the skipjack were not documented.

The July 24 fishing record reflects a family charter aboard the Blue Star, one reported skipjack tuna, and an early return due to seasickness.
