"Similar fishing again today," reported Red Rooster III skipper Andy Cates March 16. "More sharks mixed in today; they really took their toll here tonight. John Aviles had a fish about 270 pounds that got a little bite in it. We lost a few other bigger fish due to sharks but ended the day with 24 decent-sized tuna. They were 100-pound fish up to 180 pounds. Nice weather today; hopefully tomorrow we have the same, just no sharks."
