"The weather was a little better today," reported Red Rooster III skipper Andy Cates march 14, "and we found an area with better grade fish. We had 28 tuna from 100 to 170 pounds and four fish over the 200-pound mark. They were caught by: Bob Michener, with a 254, Tom Jackson with a 225, Dan Pope with a 230 and John Aviles with a 260-pounder. We are hoping to scratch again tomorrow. The weather is predicted to be the same tomorrow, so we will have some wind. Hopefully we will be able to work."
