Fish Report

The next two days will be the 4th. Annual El Gunnie Fishing Tournament. This two day event involves a Fantastic group of individuals from Canada. This year, tournament founder Mike Maier was unable to participate . We look forward to having him back with us next year. Fishing on the World Famous El Budster. Glen Seeman & Kelly Knox from Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Combine to catch and release two striped marlin ( 100 & 110 lbs. ). Both were caught on black bart lures ( red / black). The fighting times were 25 & 30 minutes. They also combine to catch & release a 60 lb. sailfish. It was caught on a live Caballito. The fighting time was 15 minutes. Fishing on the El Budster II.Lee Maier & Steve Maier from Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada combine to catch and releas a 60 lb. sailfish. It is caught on a live Caballito. The fighting time was 25 minutes. They also catch four Dorados ( 15 - 20 lbs. ). All the fish were caught 16 - 18 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 79 - 80 degrees..
