Marlin and Dorado Fishing Action

Jeremy and his four fellow anglers boarded the Blue Star for an early morning departure from Cabo San Lucas. With six hours scheduled on the water, the group had an opportunity to pursue two of the region's most recognizable offshore gamefish.

The charter finished with two marlin and three dorado, providing a successful mixed-species outing. Marlin are prized for their strength and demanding fights, while dorado bring speed, vibrant coloration, and energetic surface action.

The charter included a dredge, a fishing tool designed to create the appearance of schooling baitfish and attract predatory species. This equipment formed part of the group's offshore fishing setup.

Fishing Conditions and Catch Summary

The June 6 outing ran from 6:00 AM until noon, giving the anglers a full morning aboard the Blue Star. The five-fish result demonstrated the variety of gamefish available around Cabo San Lucas during early June, with both billfish and dorado contributing to the final catch.

Jeremy, Jim, Molly, Katie, and Rachel completed their charter with five fish recorded across two species.
