Marlin and Dorado Fishing Adventure

Michael and his group of five guests boarded the Blue Sea for a charter combining offshore sportfishing with a relaxing afternoon on the water.

The fishing portion of the trip produced two prized Cabo species: one marlin and one dorado. Both are popular targets among anglers visiting Los Cabos, offering different challenges and memorable fishing experiences.

The crew incorporated a dredge into the fishing setup, a technique designed to create the appearance of schooling baitfish and attract predatory species.

The marlin represented the billfish catch of the day, while the dorado added variety to the group's fishing results.

Fishing and Floating Experience

Following five hours dedicated to fishing, the charter transitioned into two hours of leisure aboard the 60-foot Bertram.

The group had arranged for a lily pad floating mat, allowing the outing to combine the excitement of offshore fishing with additional recreational time on the water.

This combination offered Michael, Elizabeth, Dean, Lisa, and Alyssa a varied Cabo San Lucas charter experience.
