Fishing Highlights

The final morning of May brought six anglers aboard Blue Star for an offshore fishing adventure along the Pacific waters of Cabo San Lucas. Departing at 6:00 AM, the group had six hours to pursue some of the region's most exciting game fish.

The day's confirmed catch was one Wahoo, a species prized among offshore anglers for its remarkable speed, powerful runs, and streamlined body. Wahoo are among the most exciting fish encountered in Cabo waters, making this catch a memorable achievement for the group.

The charter included a dredge, a fishing tool designed to create the appearance of schooling baitfish and attract predatory species. This equipment was part of the group's offshore fishing setup.

With Captain Jorge leading the excursion, Pecos, Jason, Josh, Hannah, Cam, and Mario completed their scheduled morning charter at noon.

Fishing Conditions

Late May marks an important seasonal transition in Cabo San Lucas, when warming offshore waters can create opportunities to encounter Wahoo and other pelagic species. The six-hour morning schedule provided the group with a dedicated offshore fishing window, resulting in one confirmed Wahoo catch.
