Cabo San Lucas Marlin Fishing Action

The May 31 charter brought eight guests aboard Blue Sky Cabo's 43-foot Riviera for a morning focused on offshore fishing. With a scheduled departure at 6:45 AM, the group had five hours on the water to pursue marlin in the Pacific waters surrounding Cabo San Lucas.

A complimentary dredge was included in the fishing package. Dredges are commonly used in offshore fishing to create the appearance of schooling baitfish, helping attract the attention of larger predators such as marlin.

The day's recorded catch consisted of two marlin, giving the group a successful billfish outing despite operational challenges during the morning.

Charter Experience and Fishing Conditions

The guests arranged to have breakfast before boarding and declined the included lunch service, leaving more flexibility during their five-hour charter.

The booking notes also describe a mechanical issue aboard Blue Sky that the captain addressed. Although a possible later outing aboard another vessel was discussed, no additional fishing activity was confirmed.

The two marlin remained the verified catch for this charter.
