Wahoo Fishing Experience in Cabo San Lucas

John and his family boarded the Blue Water for an early departure, beginning their eight-hour charter at 6:00 AM. Accompanied by Heather, Hunter, Tristan, and Grace, the group enjoyed a family fishing experience aboard the 35-foot Riviera.

The day's recorded catch was one wahoo, a prized offshore species recognized for its remarkable speed, streamlined body, and powerful runs. Wahoo are among the most exciting game fish encountered in the waters surrounding Cabo San Lucas.

The charter included the use of a dredge, a fishing accessory designed to create the appearance of schooling baitfish and attract predatory species. This equipment formed part of the day's fishing setup.

With three younger anglers aboard, the outing brought together different generations for a shared experience on the Pacific waters of southern Baja California.

Fishing Conditions and Catch Summary

The April 22 charter ran from 6:00 AM until 2:00 PM, providing eight scheduled hours on the water. The crew operated aboard the Blue Water with dredge equipment, and the fishing record confirmed one wahoo caught during the trip. The outing concluded with a single recorded fish.
