Bonito Lead the Catch During This Cabo Morning Fishing Charter

Mark, Lou, Ted, and Tate began their Cabo sportfishing outing at 6:00 AM aboard the Blue Star, with six hours scheduled for their private excursion.

The day's catch featured three bonito, making them the most frequently recorded species. Bonito are fast-swimming fish recognized for their streamlined bodies and active feeding behavior. They are among the smaller game fish encountered in the marine waters surrounding Cabo San Lucas.

An amberjack completed the catch, adding a different type of game fish to the group's results. Amberjack are powerful members of the jack family, known for their strength and association with underwater structure.

The combination of three bonito and one amberjack distinguished this outing from Cabo fishing charters focused primarily on marlin, dorado, or tuna.

A dredge was included in the charter arrangements, although the specific techniques responsible for the catches were not recorded.

Amberjack Adds Variety to This Cabo Sportfishing Charter Experience

For Mark, Lou, Ted, and Tate, the April 5 excursion produced two species during a single morning aboard the 32-foot Luhrs Blue Star.

The amberjack added variety to the three bonito recorded, illustrating the diversity of species represented in Cabo San Lucas fishing reports.

The charter was scheduled to return at noon, completing its six-hour fishing window.
