Cabo Fishing Charter – Unexpected Marlin Catch

Michael's July 3 Cabo San Lucas fishing charter presented an interesting contrast between the group's preferred fishing targets and their actual catch.

Having previously caught striped marlin during earlier visits to Cabo, Michael expressed greater interest in exploring roosterfish opportunities and bottom fishing for snapper and grouper.

Nevertheless, the recorded result was one marlin, a signature Pacific billfish recognized for its remarkable speed, muscular strength, and powerful runs.

The group discussed potentially extending their six-hour reservation to seven or eight hours if fishing warranted additional time. The confirmed booking remained six hours, with no extension documented.

The single marlin accounted for the charter's complete recorded gamefish catch.
