Dorado, also known as mahi-mahi, are distinctive Pacific gamefish recognized for their brilliant coloration, impressive swimming speed, and energetic fighting characteristics.

These fish are popular among anglers visiting Baja California Sur, particularly during the warmer months when dorado become an important part of Cabo San Lucas sportfishing.

Ashley's six-person group arranged a private morning charter aboard the 60-foot Bertram Blue Sea. The optional tournament dredge was not included in the reservation.

Both dorado counted toward the charter's primary gamefish total.
