Two billfish strikes within 45 minutes highlighted a family fishing charter near Los Arcos on October 12, 2026.

Mackenzie, Ryan, Weston, and Jack, the family from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, departed aboard the 35-foot Riviera Blue Water with Captain Oscar. Staying at Corazon Resort, the four guests caught and released one marlin approximately three miles offshore.

A second hookup involving a sailfish ended without a landing.

Cabo Fishing Charter – Morning Billfish Action

The charter departed at 6:00 AM.

At 7:00 AM, a marlin struck a Petrolero Squid lure approximately three miles offshore in front of Los Arcos. The fish was caught and released.

At 7:45 AM, a sailfish struck the same lure in the same area but escaped.

The sailfish was not counted as a landed fish.

The reservation included four lunches and a requested Tournament Dredge – Fish Attraction Device.
