Cold Creek Reservoir is sitting at ~50% capacity with water temperature measuring 64F. Vegetation is limiting shoreline fishing opportunity on the south end of the reservoir, however, fishing off the dam, west, and northern shorelines should produce trout and largemouth bass. Several 12-to-14-inch rainbow trout have been caught recently on spinners. PowerBait, night crawlers, and a variety of dry and wet flies should produce trout. Anglers can expect to see largemouth bass in the 6-to-8 inch range, with the occasional larger fish as the fishery recovers from a draw down.
