Reporting for May 2, the American angler office posted, "The guys checked in tonight to report good weather and 13 tuna; the biggest being a 167-pounder caught by Rob Olson and a 160-pounder by Kirk Buteyn, and they did see fish around the boat all day today. The only other action came from a dozen wahoo which helped to keep everyone's spirits up."
