Todays trip was about as good as it gets! The halibut were biting "full speed". We finished off with full limits by 10:15 am. Managed a handful of rockfish,lingcod and bass on the way in.
I have a very light load going in the morning. It's your best chance of the season to get a big fish. We had them to 30 pounds today with lots in the teens and some in the 20s
Final count
18 limits of halibut (36) to 30 pounds!!!!
12 striped bass to 10 pounds
2 ling cod
8 rockfish
1 soupfin shark
