We are getting back early from an amazing day at the Channel Islands. We started out in deep waters targeting big rockfish and boy did they want to bite. We caught reds, groupers, boscos, widows and more. They were biting live anchovies, squid strips, plastics and the iron. We then moved into shallow waters to target lingcod and whitefish. We did well on both until the wind and current shut our bite down.
Our 25 anglers ended up with limits of rockfish (250), 61 whitefish and 9 lingcod.
