  • The San Diego ended their Full Day with 20 Bluefin and 27 Yellowtail for their 33 anglers. Their Bluefin all weighed in around 30 pounds. Captain Ryan reported that they did see some 80-120 fish as well and the savvy angler would be prepared 25-40# flyline and 50-100 sinker rig.

  • The Polaris Supreme returned from their 3 Day trip this morning with 16 Bluefin Tuna. They had 4 fish from 100-150lbs with the rest in the 60-80lb range.

  • The Pacifica returned from a 1.5 Day this morning with 7 Bluefin and 27 Yellowtail. They are sold out this weekend but they do have an Overnight departing on Monday with plenty of openings.

Full Day Bluefin Update The San Diego just checked in from their Full Day with 19 Bluefin Tuna! Their Bluefin were in the 30 pound range and Captain Ryan reported that the 25-40# flyline setup with a size 2 or 4 hook was working best. There are still some spots left on Friday's trip.
