Today there was strong Santa Ana winds over the eastern islands and we ran a long way to find calm water, ending up at the western end of Santa Rosa Island. Fishing was good, with some nice reds and whitefish in deeper water, then very shallow later. Our 24 anglers caught:
240 rockfish including 76 nice reds
165 ocean whitefish
7 lings
1 sheephead
