We dropped anchor around 0430 after a bumpy ride in, It didn’t take long for the fish to find us, As I watched the plotter to make sure we weren’t dragging crew member Bill hooks a nice White Sea bass and it was game on from there. We arrived at the spot around 10:30 hours and it didn’t take long for the yellowtail to find us!!. It seemed like that every bait of jig that hit the water was attacked by a gang of yellowtail!!!. We had our daily limits by noon. The yellowtail were 15-18 lbs with a few bigger ones. After getting all we needed on the yellowtail we headed offshore to look for kelps, Hopefully we will find Dorado and Yellowfin tuna under them...... Read More
