8 day Wahoo special trip update: Well once leaving the yellowtail grounds we headed offshore to look for a kelp patty, We hit a few small kelps for not much until Trevon spotted a huge kelp that we got all the dorado and yft we wanted. With that hurricane on our hills we headed north to the BFT grounds to give it a try before the storm hits. We arrived there around 1900 hours, once the sun went down it was game on!!!! From 2030 until sunrise we hit school after school of BFT that wanted to bite!!. 30-140 lb BFT filled our fish wells. It’s 0700 08 sept and we have all the fish we want and just drifting as the crew and passengers catches up on some much needed SLEEP !!. Side note:: this jig accounted for over 40 confirmed BFT kills!!! “ If you don’t know now you know”!!!!
