The boats are starting to report seeing bigger Bluefin up to 200#. Make sure you bring your Heavy gear. If you don't have heavy gear make sure you rent it here at Fisherman's Landing. ( Fisherman's Landing boat only)
The Dolphin AM caught 22 Rock Fish, 3 Sculpin, 1 White Fish, and 1 Sand Bass for 29 anglers.
The Dolphin PM caught 16 Rock Fish, 5 Calico Bass, 2 Sheephead, and 1 White Fish for 21 anglers.
The Pegasus called in this morning with LIMITS (38) of Bluefin Tuna (1@ 130lbs.) for 19 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.
The Liberty returned this morning with LIMITS (44) of Bluefin Tuna for 22 anglers on their 1.5 day charter.
The Outrider returned this morning with LIMITS (20) of Bluefin Tuna for 10 anglers on their 1.5 day trip.
The Pacific Queen returned this morning with LIMITS (68) of Bluefin Tuna (25 fish between 40 and 160 lbs.) for 34 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.
The Condor returned this morning with 35 Bluefin Tuna up to 150 lbs. for 30 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.
Tackle recommendations
25 pound outfit for Yellowtail fishing
40 to 60 pound outfit for day time fishing with smaller size jigs. 80 to 150 grams jigs
80 to 100 pound outfits for night time fishing with medium to larger 200 to 500 grams jigs.
