Good Bass Fishing Today (Thursday 05/22/08) & Charter Looking For A Few

Hi Everyone

We had pretty good fishing today with good calico bass fishing and bonito fishing for the ?? day trip on the Patriot at Catalina Island. They ended up with 117 calico bass and 29 bonito for 20 anglers. They have been seeing and hooking yellowtail everyday but less successful landing them. The Patriot has limited load extended ?? day trips for Friday and throughout the weekend including Monday. Each trip has about 15-20 spots open which bolds well for those going with lots of room. Cost is $90.

?? day on the Nautilus had good bass fishing with 55 sand bass and 28 calico bass for only 16 anglers today (Thursday May 22). Nautilus is running morning ?? day, afternoon ?? day, and twilight every day this weekend.

Also we have a private ?? day charter leaving at 7am on May 26 (Monday) returning at 5pm that is looking for 8 spots to fill. The price is $100 and limited to 25 people on the Aggressor. More than likely fishing Catalina Island. If interested just give us a call at the landing.

Newport Landing Sportfishing 3/4 Day Yellowtail & Good 1/2 Day Bass Fishing Hi Everyone Pretty good fishing today. The ?? open party trip on the Patriot today had 1 yellowtail, 1 white sea bass, 81 calico bass, and 6 sand bass for 33 anglers. Other yellowtail were hooked and lost. Water has warmed signicantly. Amigo with a couple yellowtail and Patriot got into the big bonito this morning (Friday May 18). Just a update the Amigo has a couple yellowtail on the boat on a 1 1/2 day trip fishing today at San Clemente Island. They still have lots of time left to fish.
